When you enter college and start the new lease of life as a student, you have a lot more ways to express yourself in terms of dressing style, flaunting your physical changes, voicing your opinion within the college community and just the aspect of expression reaches another level. The extent to which a college student can express themselves is infinite and cannot be curbed by anybody. Because of the massive transition you make from wearing uniform in school to wearing colored clothing when you enter college, freedom of expression is probably the primary reason why you should relish college life.
Learning curve
College life is probably the second best learning curve you will ever have in your lifetime. A college campus usually consists of a major part of maturing men and women and a small part of matured people, thus creating a perfect foil for you to learn the various nuances of humanity, life, your true potential and just gives you a comprehensive understanding of whatever you want/need to know.
Lesser stranglehold
When you move out of school and enter college, the restrictions enforced upon you certainly come down. If your parents treat you like an eighteen year old and if your college faculties treat you like men and women, it's only inevitable that restrictions come down on you and the process of exploring yourself can go ahead.
Dip in exam pressure ;)
Exam pressure in college life is a lot easier to cope with as compared to what you underwent while you were at school. Having to undergo semester examinations once in every 6 months eases the pressure off your shoulders immensely as compared to your school life, where you undergo mid-term exams to the quarterly, half-yearly exams and you almost write exams every month of the academic year.
Relieved from the confinements of your school life
While your school curriculum focuses on making you disciplined by teaching values, college life is all about independence and personal interest towards what he/she wants to pursue. I appreciate the concept that prevails in college, since it doesn't force anything upon anyone and everybody is given the leeway to think and act for their own welfare.
College life isn't the one you should dread and a proper understanding of the above mentioned niceties of college life just indicates that, it isn't a tough venture as some people envisage.
Hopefully, you were able to understand certain things about college life that you might not have been aware of previously. Embrace whatever you go through because, there's no better substitute to absorbing pressure and moving on in life.
